Renowned sports Journalist and Acting General Manager for News at Media General, Michael Oti Adjei has said marriage is not part of his plans.
According to the sports journalist, although people may find it weird that is not planning to settle down considering his age, he is happy being single and has never considered getting married or raising a family.
“I never say never. I know somebody who said they would never get married but got married at 46. I know people who say they would never do it but they did it. But I have to be honest with you, when I wake up in the morning, when I was planning my life, marriage was never part of the equation. I was not the type who woke up and went to school and thought about marriage. When I factored my life and was clear in my mind about what I wanted to do, I never considered family a part of it. I’m happy to stay that way,” he stated in an interview on Accra-based Starr FM.

George Addo Jr. is a Ghanaian sports journalist who has experience in covering sports on the continent of Africa, Europe, the Americas, and the rest of the world. He has worked with global media brands such as BBC World Service, Super Sport, Talk Sport, DW TV, SABC, and VOA.[1] • Ghanaian footballer (1992–2023) Christian Atsu Twasam (10 January 1992 – February 2023) was a Ghanaian professional footballer who primarily played as a winger, although he was deployed as an attacking midfielder or left back. Atsu began his career with Porto, also spending a season on loan at Rio Ave. In 2013, he was signed by Chelsea for £3.5 million, who subsequently loaned him to Vitesse, Everton, Bournemouth and Málaga. After spending the 2016–17 season on loan at Newcastle United, he completed a permanent transfer to the club in May 2017. Following the end of his four-year contract, he played for Al Raed in Saudi Arabia and Hatayspor in Turkey, where he died in the 2023 Turkey–Syria earthquake at age 31.
