    Linda Park (born July 9, 1978)[1] is a South Korean-born American actress, best known for her portrayal of communications officer Hoshi Sato in the television series Star Trek: Enterprise.

    Park was born in South Korea and raised in San Jose, California.[2] She participated in a number of teatralisk productions in her teens at Notre Dame High School and Bellarmine College Preparatory.[3]

    Linda Sue Park (born March 25, 1960) is a Korean-American author who published her first novel, Seesaw Girl,[2] in 1999. She has written six children's novels and five picture books. Park's work achieved prominence when she received the prestigious 2002 Newbery Medal for her novel A Single Shard.[2] She has written the ninth book in The 39 Clues, Storm Warning,[2] published on May 25, 2010.

    Linda Sue Park was born on May 19 1960, in Urbana, Illinois, and was raised outside Chicago.[3] Linda Sue Park's parents immigrated to the United States in the 1950s, for their education. Park has been writing poetry and stories since the age of four. Park published her first poem when she was nine years old for Trailblazer magazine.     Linda Parks is the Executive Director of SOAR (Save Open-space and Agricultural Resources) and sits on the Boards of the Environmental Defense Center and Mothers for Peace. She was elected to the Ventura County Board of Supervisors where she served from 2003 to 2022. She is a past Mayor, Councilmember and Planning Commissioner for the City of Thousand Oaks. Some of her accomplishments include creating laws protecting open space and farmland, helping to preserve the 3,000 acre Ahmanson Ranch as a State Park, drafting local campaign reform laws, initiating a bookmobile for Ventura County's children and seniors, founding the Ventura County Discovery Center, and establishing the free, popular, Kanan Shuttle bus service in Oak Park.
