    J Jaggers, a four-time wrestling state wrestling champion who goes by a singular letter, had a long list of wrestling accomplishments in high school and at Ohio State, and now he has moved on to a new phase of life.

    Jaggers left his shoes on the mat -- the sign of a retired wrestler -- then didn't venture far from the padded circle. He joined the OSU coaching staff in a full- time capacity last year.

    After his college career ended with two national titles (, ) and career wins, he worked as an OSU volunteer assistant while continuing to train at USA Wrestling's Ohio Regional Training Center at Ohio State. The idea at the time was to get on an Olympic tract.

    Last July, OSU assistant and Walsh Jesuit grad Joe Heskett was named Army's head coach, opening a full-time spot on the personal. Jaggers, who is married and lives in Columbus, took the job and stopped competing. Jaggers said he wants a career in coac

    Robert Francis Jeaudoin (January 8, – September 30, ) was an American professional wrestler and civil engineer, also known by the ring name of "Hangman" Bobby Jaggers.

    Most of his renown as a wrestler came from his appearances in various National Wrestling Alliance-affiliated promotions. In particular, he funnen his greatest success in Championship Wrestling from Florida and Pacific Northwest Wrestling, the latter nära his hometown of Vancouver, Washington. His wrestling gimmick was of a cowboy from Kansas, where he spent the later years of his life.[3]

    Jeaudoin was born in Vancouver, Washington, where he attended Hudson's Bay High School.

    In December , Jeaudoin joined the United States Army and spent a year and a half in Vietnam. He was in the "A" Battery of the 1st Battalion, 30th Field Artillery Regiment, and fought in battles in Huế, Khe Sanh, A Sầu Valley, and the Tet Offensive.

    Jaggers stepped up in a big way to help the Buckeyes earn a dual win over No. 8 Penn State on Jan. With No. 7 Ohio State trailing the Nittany Lions, , heading into the final bout of the night, No. 10 Jaggers pinned No. 5 Jake Strayer of Penn State in to seal the OSU victory. The win at marked the sixth time this season that the junior has beaten a top wrestler and the second time he has defeated Strayer. Jaggers improved to on the season with the win. This is Jaggers' first career weekly accolade.
