TV: Did you ever anticipate it would grow to be so big?
JB: I always dreamed it would!
TV: Procter & Gamble invested in your site when you were still a teenager. What do you think drew them to it? What do you think made (and makes) the site so successful?
JB: They saw the authenticity in the site and how we were successfully able to tap into a very hard-to-reach demographic. Miss O and Friends wasn’t a company that was created by adults, for girls. It was actually created by girls, for girls and because of that, the site has always been able to stay relevant. It’s our community of girls that drives everything you see on the site, and I think that’s the biggest reason why we’ve been a success.
TV: Did you learn coding after founding the site? If so, what was that experience like?
JB: I’ve learned a lot of coding since we launched the site. It does take a lot of practice and patience, but it really is cool when you see the finished product. My mom and I have
