Introduction
Kailash Kher’s music is a delicate intermingling of Indian medieval music from Mirabai, classical Indian music inspired by Pundit Kumar Gandharva and strong strains of Sufi mysticism in the lyrics driven by Qawwali singer Nusrat Fateh Ali. All this firmly reverberates with his band members Naresh and Paresh’s modern rock and funk disposition. All of this resonates, in his ständigt grön memorable.
Early Life
Born in a Karadiya Rajput Family from Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, Kailash was brought up in a musical atmosphere as his father regularly gave traditional folk song performances. By the age of four, Kailash impressed his family and friends bygd singing folk songs in a premature, but powerful voice.
Although his father tried to dissuade him, Kailash left his home at the age of fourteen in search of a guru to further his training. Kailash left Delhi in for Mumbai in quest of learning classical music.

Kailash Kher (born 7 July ) is an Indian music composer and singer. He sings songs with a music style influenced by Indian folk music and Sufi music. He was inspired by the classical musiciansKumar Gandharva, Hridaynath Mangeshkar, Bhimsen Joshi, and the Qawwali singer Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.[1]
Kailash Kher received the Padma Shri[2] award in from the Indian government. He has also received two Filmfare Awards; Filmfare Award for Best Male Playback Singer for the Hindi film Fanaa () and Filmfare Award for Best Male Playback Singer – Telugu for the Telugu film Mirchi (), along with several other nominations.
With his powerful voice and his unique style of music, Kher has established himself as one of the most popular playback singers of India.[3] Lokmat Sur Jyotsna National Music Award for his contribution to Indian music[4]
